Trademark registration in India includes the different cities and various costs. To register your company’s or product’s trademark, you will need some documents and the required amount for trademark registration.
Documents needed for an individual or sole owner for trademark registration in Delhi
- Proof of your identity and nationality
- You can submit any document with your name and date of birth on it. As voter id, passport.
- Address proof
- For your address proof, you can give a copy of an aadhar card, passport, or driving licence.
- Digital signature to sign the application form.
- Copy of the text matter that you want to trademark, and if the text matter is in other languages than English, you need to attach the copy with an English translation of your text.
- Affidavit specifies the date of first-time use of the product before trademark registration.
- List of the items and products to be trademarked and legal Authority.
Documents required for trademark registration for business entities, partnerships, and registered Company
- If you’re having a partnership with a company, attaching a copy of your registered partnership is needed. If you have a registered company, you will need to submit the association form.
- Copy of the text matter that you want to trademark. If the text matter is in another language than English, you will need to attach an English translation of your text.
- If the products are already in use in a city, then the affidavit of the date of first-time use.
- Legal Authority (authorization in form-48)
- Proof of identity of the signatory, and address proof of the signatory.
Documents needed for a Trust or small enterprises
In addition to the documents described above needed for an individual or sole owner, two more documents are required.
- Registration certificate of the organisation, or any of that defines the existence of the Company or organisation.
- Udyog Aadhar registration certificate of the organisation or trust is also required for trademark registration.
